Wow can you believe is 2012 already? I want my hover board already As is now a regular pattern, when it’s quiet here on the blog it normally means that I’m hectic with work and life. This time is no different! I was originally intending on running another 24 ways post series in December but a combination of deadlines and well Christmas vacation got in the way. I did manage to release a new WordPress theme called IPEO just before Christmas which you can buy over on Mojo Themes. I’m really happy with how it turned out and it’s been doing well since launch. So March has been super busy for me. As a result, posts have been thin on the ground the past few weeks – sorry folks. One thing that I’ve been itching to do is to refresh themesforge.com. Our current theme is a custom theme we put together around our relaunch back in late 2009. WordPress has changed massively in that time and we’re looking a little bit stale at this point. It’s time for a shakeup! At the moment I’m planning on building a new Genesis Child theme but have not 100% committed to that road just yet. It never ceases to amaze me how often people question whether WordPress is powerful enough to power their website. People marvel at it’s feature set but some still think it’s a dainty little blogging tool that is meant for small-fry blogs and could never be used to power some of the world’s biggest websites. Those closer to WordPress know that’s horse manure. WordPress has been powering some of the world’s largest websites for some time now. ok so we’re finally nearly finished with our redesign! after a good few months preparation work we are moving into beta testing of our shiny new wordpress theme.
